Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary

These are from a day trip to a Koala Sanctuary. I hadn't seen any native wildlife until this, but hope to see some in the wild soon. Koala's are the most lazy things i have seen, and now realise that they are "drunk" from the eucalyptus - explains everything!!!!

On top of the world.......................not quite

This is me on top of Mount Beerwah. It was organised as a work social trip, advertised as a gentle walk with some easy climbing. Turned out to be quite tricky but well worth the effort. It's about 550m and took us about 75 mins to get to the top. The Motley crew are all from work, except the girl of course.

Story Bridge

This is a pic of the Storey Bridge which links the city of Brisbane across the river, from Kangaroo Point to Fortitude Valley.

I took this from the City Cat which is a water taxi that runs along the river. Very peaceful way to see the city.

North Stradbroke Island

North Stradbroke Island or "Straddie" as it's known.

Went here on a sunday, caught some waves and some sun. Really beautiful place and this was overlooking Main Beach from a headland.

There were dolphins in the water too, but didn't manage to get any pics of them.

Hello from Brisbane
